RODERICK J. GILLIS III - President and Director

Mr. Roderick Gillis is the President and Director of both VIEWPOINT® Realty International, Inc. and VIEWPOINT® Franchise International, Inc., and has been since both companies’ inception.

Under his leadership, his real estate company ranks in the top 16 real estate companies in the greater Tampa Bay area. Throughout his real estate career, Mr. Gillis has been an annual million dollar producer and has been responsible for the sale of hundreds of hospitality properties and other commercial ventures.

After spending the first 14 years of his life in Harrisburg, PA, he moved to Clearwater in 1955, graduated from Clearwater High School in 1959, and like his son, excelled in sports. He attended Eastern Kentucky University on a full football scholarship and graduated from the University of Tampa in 1965 with a degree in Physical Education. In 1964 he was voted outstanding lineman and was rewarded with the honor of being a Little All American. Mr. Gillis’ early career was devoted to teaching and coaching, both in high school and in the universities of Tampa and Miami. In the early 70’s Mr. Gillis was licensed to sell life and health insurance as well as securities and became a million dollar producer with the Equitable of Iowa.

Mrs. Gillis is our Executive Vice President, Co-Founder and Director and has been since our inception. Her principle responsibilities have been selling commercial real estate and developing the company's specialty in international sales and marketing.

Throughout her real estate career, Mrs. Gillis has been an annual multimillion dollar producer and has been responsible for the sale of hundreds of hospitality properties. She has coordinated and attended international property shows in Stuttgart, Germany, Toronto, Canada, Wiesbaden, Germany, Sandown Park, England and other European venues. Examples of her exceptional sales volume include: the sale of 11 hospitality properties in the first five months of 1996, from a seven unit motel on Clearwater Beach to a 132 unit in St Petersburg; 10 hotel closing in the first 6 months of 2001 exceeding 17 million dollars in sales, from a 6 unit motel in Clearwater Beach to a 105 unit Best Western on Clearwater Beach.

In addition to hotels and motels, Georgette has been actively involved in the listing and selling of restaurants and bars, apartments, shopping centers and strip malls, business opportunities and lease opportunities with total sales volume in the 10's of millions of dollars.

Mrs. Gillis has also been responsible for the co-authorship of an immigration book as well as writing many articles concerning how to attract and keep foreign buyers and how to develop an international real estate business.

It is Mrs. Gillis' experience and knowledge that will be the primary focus of our franchisee's week long training program. She looks forward to having the opportunity to impart her knowledge concerning the listing and selling of commercial real estate, various immigration issues and the operation and management of a successful real estate organization.

RYAN GILLIS - Executive Vice President

Mr. Gillis is our Executive Vice President and has been since our company’s inception. He and his wife Jill live in Largo, the same city in which he was born in 1975.

Mr. Gillis has excelled in all of his activities throughout high school and college, as evidenced by his being captain of his high school football team and weight lifting team, participant with All-Star Teams, All State weight lifting honors, a three sport letterman and voted most athletic of his senior class of 1993. During his tenure at the University of Central Florida on a full football scholarship, he led his team to its most successful year, received All Star honors, received the Academic/Athletic Achievement Award in 1998, while being listed on the honor roll six times. He graduated in 1998 with a double major of a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, while maintaining a grade point average of 3.5.

Mr. Gillis then pursued an athletic career, playing football in the Arena Football League and then the Xtreme Football League.

It was at this point that the family real estate business called him into service as the office manager for VIEWPOINT Realty International until he received his real estate license in 2002. Mr. Gillis’ success with his real estate career as a multi-million dollar producer, can only be matched by his success on the athletic field.
